2008年2月17日，恰逢多伦多市长周末（Long Weekend）和家庭日(Family Day),中国矿业大学加拿大校友会(CUMT Alumni Association in Canada)2008春节联欢会在加拿大最大城市多伦多市举行。

一年一度的新春佳节已经来临，在这里首先祝大家新年快乐，身体健康，万事如意! 每年新春，我们校友会都会组织一次新春聚餐，主要是想通过此次活动，促进大家多交流、多沟通、多了解，从而使我们的校友会不断地发展壮大。今年的聚餐将于2月17号下午举行。希望曾经在中国矿业大学学习、工作过的校友们踊跃参加此次活动。活动的具体信息如下：

地点：Craft Room, Oriole Community Resource Centre (located at 2975 Don Mills Road West, Toronto, Ontario）
